Nice! Really thrilled to see another mod release - it's looking like a really interesting new angle. I'll definitely be checking this one out!
 
I noticed in Suzaku's LP that he got Redd instead of Bleu. Is there a way to get Redd instead of Bleu? Because I've reloaded a lot of times and always seem to get Bleu lol. Nice mod by the way. You guys are a godsend for any Shining Force fan. I've always wanted to play as Kane and always thought he looked just a little bit cooler than Max.

Thank you, but I did that to no avail, so I downloaded the latest beta version on Discord and I was pleased to find it has Redd, along with the two new replacement characters.

Np. I just learned about the beta myself and have been playing it a fair bit.

I think I enjoyed testing versions a bit more from well over a month back now - the difficulty felt more fair in certain ways; I'm struggling' in Chapter 2 even after resetting for debatably better characters haha.

I blame my brain for being stuck on my strats for a different hack, but that's not here or now.

Yeah, the enemies hit harder in that chapter, like those peepers in the Cavern of Darkness. There's a fight in chapter 3 that makes it super easy to get everyone to level 20, so that's what I did both playthroughs. Have you tried out the Unlikely Alliance mod? I'm on the last battle of chapter 7 right now and I barely have anyone from the old team :p

I was able to download and try that one recently. I thought it was alright. I've been more focused on my projects, though. Glad to see Erikin ain't running out of steam, though.

Fixes and tweaks

After the community has been nice enough to playtest and report bugs, I'm happy to release this newest version.

Changes include but not limited to:
Tweaks to some enemies/force member stats.
Kiddo's been given access to axes so there's 3 total in your line up to choose from that are axe wielders.
Changed a couple characters, like Bleu to Redd(I know, I'm sooooo original)
Items near endgame were tweaked a bit so it's more competitive on what to equip your followers with.
Scene bug fixes...

Hi. Been playing SF for years now but only found out you can have mods lol. Quick question for the modders out there. Can these mods be used with the Steam version of the game and if yes how do you get them to work?

They can be used simply by taking the patched .bin and putting it over the one in Steam. Alternatively, just use an Emulator.

They don't work, unfortunately. I'd have them up there if it did to gain more exposure.

I mean, technically they do. It's a matter of using the bin or setting up the hack in the Steam Workshop, given SF 1/2 is through the Megadrive Classics thing, which has a workshop.
