Shining Force Eternity December 2024

The new game plus mechanic is pretty fun; allows becoming familiar with the new promotions and items pay off.
 
Used all the promotions and orichal accessories now, had some time to think on them, and can't wait to see what comes next. The armor definitely has a noticable impact on the early game boosting survivability and the boots after the timeskip help stragglers catch back up. I think the shield and ring have most of thier benefit come later in.

Frakka is probably my favorite 'new' class idea and Brass Gunner the most interesting change. The random battles scaling much better to Bowie's level was a welcome change and trading empties for items in battle is a wonderful addition hopefully incorporated in future mods.
 
Any reason why I'm getting these ? sprites and missing weapon icons? I tried using Kfusion, Mednafen, and Retroarch for different emulators with the file you provided with the download and all of them are having the same issue. The battle I'm currently on has all the battle trolls as ? for sprites also.

I saw this happen today for a force member when I was syncing between the pc and phone saves; turned out to likely be a version mismatch that cleared after retransfering the bin. The Sept build has some npcs with those mapsprites and other temp art since new, proper art hasn't been made/selected yet as far as I know.

This is an accurate rendering of the file (no bugs). The '?' sprites are instances that I do not have artwork for yet. I have been working on making sure all allies and enemies (trolls/mermaids still needed) will have mapsprites to identify them, which should be live with a December update. Some of the item icons are are also still needed.

One thing I find fitting for the next update is adding the promotion to Berserker for the Beast class.
